Chicken Base - E

This economy dry base with MSG has about the same texture of brown sugar. Has a delicate chicken flavor and can be sprinkled in or over anything where an added touch of chicken flavor is needed. Salt is the first ingredient.

Chicken With Garlic, Rosemary and White Beans Stew

2 lbs Bone-in, skinless chicken pieces
2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
10 oz Pearl onions, peeled and halved
3 Carrots, peeled and diced
5 cloves Garlic, peeled and chopped
4 oz Canadian bacon, diced
2 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar
1 c Dry white wine
15 oz Great Northern or Cannellinni Beans (white kidney beans), rinsed and drained 2 tsp Rosemary, Whole
14.5 oz Chicken Base - E (prepared according to package)
In a large, heavy pot heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and brown on all sides.
Add pearl onions, carrots, garlic and Canadian bacon; sauté until onions are lightly browned.
Stir in balsamic vinegar and white wine; bring to a boil and then simmer over medium-low heat until the liquid is reduced by about one third.
Stir in beans, rosemary and prepared Chicken Base - E.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Bring back to a simmer, reduce heat to low, cover and let cook for 20 minutes.
Ladle into large bowls and serve with rustic bread and salad.
