Chipotle Powder, Morita

A unique, medium - hot smoky flavor which is popular in many Southwestern dishes. Use Chipotle powder just as you would salt or pepper. Sprinkle it on pasta, baked potatoes, vegetables, soups, pizza, popcorn and more. Also try it to season chicken and stews.

Mashed Sweet Potatoes With Lime & Chipotle

4 Lg Wweet potatoes, approximately 2 lbs
3 Tbsp Butter
1 tsp Chipotle Powder, Morita (kosher)
Juice of one lime
1/2 tsp Salt
Cook potatoes in salted, boiling water until done (about 15 minutes).
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and whisk in chipotle powder, lime juice, and salt.
Pour mixture over sweet potatoes and mash with mixer or potato masher.
